2013 Skoda Octavia RS variant breaks cover

Skoda has just unveiled the 2013 Octavia and has allegedly leaked another image that has led to the speculation that an RS variant is already on its way.
The leaked image was reported to be accidently published on the company's car configurator - which is unsurprisingly down for 'technical reasons'.
In any case, the model appears to have a sporty front fascia with honeycomb grille inserts and LED fog lights. Other noteworthy changes are the revised side skirts, gloss black mirrors and five-spoke alloy wheels with red brake calipers. Lastly the rear end has a new bumper, a trunk-mounted spoiler and a dual exhaust system.
No details on the powertrain have been released at yet, but it could come equipped with a turbocharged engine that develops more than 200bhp. Coupled with the model's reduced weight, this should enable the car to be much faster than its predecessor.
