Six months after the world premiere of the new Skoda Elroq, the brand has launched its sportiest version: The new Elroq RS.
As the first Skoda production model to fully implement the new Modern Solid design language, it will be showcased at the 2025 Milan Design Week, which runs from 8 April 2025 to 13 April 2025. Also, in collaboration with Czech shoe manufacturer Botas, limited-edition shoe collections inspired by the design and materials of the Elroq will be presented.
The Elroq RS's electric motors on its front and rear axles offer a total output of 250kW (335bhp) and support AWD. It has a century sprint timing of 5.4 seconds and a top speed of 179km/h. Its high-voltage battery has a capacity of 84kWh, enabling a maximum WLTP electric range of more than 547km. DC fast charging at a rate of up to 185kW recharges the battery from 10% to 80% in around 26 minutes. AC charging at 11kW takes the battery from 0% to 100% in eight hours.
The car's dynamic appearance is underlined by black exterior details and alloy wheels of up to 21 inches, with its sports chassis and progressive steering said to provide excellent driving dynamics. A host of standard equipment includes LED Matrix beam headlights and LED rear lights with dynamic indicators.
Inside, the Elroq RS sports the exclusive Design Selection RS Lounge, which is mostly black. It features Suedia microfibre upholstery with lime green contrast stitching and a carbon-look décor, with the heated sports steering wheel lathered in leather. An electrically adjustable, heated driver's seat with massage function and lumbar support also comes as standard, and is available for the front passenger as part of the optional Maxx package.
Also coming as standard in the interior is a 5.0-inch Digital Cockpit and a 13-inch infotainment display. Its standard electrically operated tailgate with a 'Virtual Pedal' provides easy and convenient access to its 470-litre boot, which can be expanded to 1,580 litres with the second row folded flat.
U.K. pricing and specification for the Skoda Elroq RS will be announced later in April 2025, with the first deliveries expected in the third quarter of 2025.
