ABT Sportsline kicks off tuning programme with the recently revealed Audi A3

Renowned German tuner ABT has recently revealed an up-tuned version of the new Audi A3 hatchback. Cosmetics enhancement package offers a beefed up front spoiler, sports grille and side skirts accompanying a rear spoiler, rear skirt insert and quad exhaust pipes.
Also included in this package are suspension springs, a coil-over suspension and brake kit with 345mm discs. To top it off, the DR light alloy wheels are available in 18 and 19 inch applications.
Under the bonnet, the ECU has been given a simple upgrade to give the 2.0-litre diesel around 200hp, 50 up from the 150hp in the stock model, while the 1.8-litre TFSI gains 70 extra horses to 250hp, up from 180hp in the standard.
