16 Feb 2013|4,415 views

ABT has turned the economical 1.4-litre TFSI to churn out 160bhp, from a stock figure of 122bhp, on top of increasing torque value from 200Nm to 250Nm. The 2.0-litre turbo diesel has 170bhp with 360Nm of torque. Two further engines are currently being developed - the 1.6-litre TDI and the 1.8-litre TFSI.
The large front spoiler lip and the 'Hannibal Lecter' ABT grille complements the fender inserts and side skirts. The rear end is busy with typical quadruple exhausts and a wide rear spoiler. The car sits lower to the tarmac by 35mm and braking performance is provided by 345mm wide brake discs.
Completing the visual enhancement package will be the DR alloy wheels, available in both 18 and 19 inches.
The Audi A3 Sportback offers more style and space than the two-door hatchback. But in the ABT guise, you also get an added touch of sportiness.
