Angry driver obstructs path of SBS bus at Toa Payoh

A SBS bus was prevented from executing a right turn, for at least 15 minutes, after being blocked off by an angry driver.
Pictures of the road rage incident surfaced on citizen journalism website Stomp, showing a black Honda hatchback parked diagonally in front of a SBS bus along Toa Payoh Lorong 4. One of the pictures also showed the car driver gesticulating at the bus driver, reported The Straits Times.
According to the English daily, the driver was unhappy because the bus had overtaken his car. As such, the car driver overtook the bus, cut into its lane and got out to speak to the bus driver.
The police confirmed they received a call for assistance regarding a case of dispute at about 12:30pm on Saturday. A police spokesman told the English daily no further police assistance was needed and both parties were advised not to breach public peace.
