Amongst others, the iconic British marque is working on completely new architecture that will underpin its new vehicles.
The new platform will replace the VH platform which made its first debut on the V12 Vanquish back in 2001.
In addition, Aston Martin will introduce new V8 power units, derived from its strategic partnership with AMG.

The first new product to benefit from the increased investment could be the next generation DB9 - underpinned presumably by the new platform - and housing a refined 6.0-litre V12 alongside a 4.0-litre V8.
Aston Martin will be implementing the biggest investment programme in its long history, thanks to strong growth and increased profits garnered in 2013, to prepare the ground for new and exciting products in the future.
