Audi A5 Sportback gets a new tuning package from Abt

Among the aesthetic additions to the A5 Sportback include a new front bumper, ABT's trademark grille, front fender air-vents and a rear apron with a diffuser shrouding chrome exhaust tips. Abt also offers new alloy wheels in two different designs and 18 or 20-inch sizes.

Under the hood, Abt has modified the 2.0 litre TSI petrol engine as well as the 3.0 litre TDI diesel engine. The 2.0 TSI gets an increase in power from 180bhp to 275bhp, while the 3.0 litre V6 diesel can have an increase in horsepower from 240bhp to either 282bhp or 310bhp.

As such, the 3.0 litre V6 diesel is able to go from 0-100km/h in 5.8 seconds. Other engines in the A5 Sportback range will be given a performance tune-up at a later date. Finally, Abt gives the A5 Sportback a sport suspension and a high-performance braking system with either 345 mm or 380 mm disks, as well as eight piston callipers to finish off the package.
