The dark black single frame radiator grille is surrounded by a brushed and polished aluminium trim. The honeycombs are slightly offset to one another, creating a distinct three-dimensional effect. I thought the whole 3-D craze was happening in movie theatres and looks like automakers got the bite as well. The headlights are slightly tinted where some covered panels are made from carbon fiber-reinforced polymer composites (CFRP).

The same black and blue combination is repeated on the profile at the trim strips, sills and add-on parts of the wheel housings. The side mirror housings consist of CFRP as well, with aluminum trim framing the side windows.
Besides a rear spoiler at the rear, the diffuser insert, integrates two large Audi RS typical tailpipes. Audi designers have chosen a combination of blue clearcoat and black CFRP as well. The rear lights and auxiliary lights in the bumper are tinted in anthracite and are made of clear glass.
The RS Q3 will get plenty of natural light courtesy of a glass sunroof. Cool black is the dominant colour present, used in the roofliner, carpets, instrument panels and other areas. Dark blue Alcantara is used on the seat covers a contrast to the seat upholstery, which consists of Fine Nappa leather. Chinese characters replace the usual Arabic numerals in the tachometer with RS Q3 badges adorning the interior.
The 2.5-litre TFSI in the RS Q3 generates 360hp of power propelling itself to 100km/h in a brisk 5.2 seconds, before hitting a top speed of 265 km/h. A seven-speed S tronic transfers all that power to the Quattro permanent all-wheel drive.
Finished in an eye soothing matte metallic blue (Ordos Blue, a matt blue with a slight yellow tint), the Audi RS Q3 concept is based on the theme of thrilling dynamic performance. It is powered by a 360hp 2.5-litre TFSI with a 25mm lowered and widened body with the usual sharp visual enhancements.

The front has heavy use of CFRP at the front spoiler and outer sections of the air intake. The redesigned bumper looks more powerful are subdivided into two segments. The lower section of the front spoiler is matt black with the entire lower section of the bumper coated with blue clearcoat paint.
