Audi continues to support charities around Ingolstadt

The Audi Works Council has announced that it has, for the 47th time, called on Audi's staff to participate in its traditional Christmas donation.
A total of 99.6% of Audi employees are said to have heeded the call, donating a total of €493,032 ($721,000) to a total of 110 charitable organisations. Audi itself then rounded up the donated amount to a total of €720,000 ($1.05 million).
The annual Christmas donation was first started by former Chairman of the Works Council Fritz Bohm. The employees at Audi are said to have collected more than a total of €20 million since the tradition was started for charitable organisations around Ingolstadt, where Audi is headquartered.
