With the third generation of the Q3, Audi has said that it will be strengthening its range with a powerful plug-in hybrid and efficient combustion engines, as well as a new adaptive suspension. Now, the German marque has also unveiled the Q3 Sportback to accompany the Q3.
As mentioned previously, the new Audi Q3 has an even more emotional design compared to its predecessor. The wide Singleframe and the sleekly tapered headlights are fully integrated into a more aerodynamic body. Viewed from the side, a horizontal shoulder line between the headlights and rear lights also visually divides the car into two parts.
In addition to classic SUV advantages like easy entry, excellent visibility, and a practical interior layout, the latest Audi Q3 Sportback goes on to combine the strengths of an SUV with the aesthetics of a coupe. The rear is adorned with optional digital OLED rear lights, complemented by a continuous LED light strip and the illuminated rings. This level of lighting technology offered in the new Audi Q3 is available for the first time in the Audi compact segment.
In the interior, the new steering wheel control unit integrates two new steering column levers for the first time. The lever on the right serves as a gear selector, and the one on the left as a control element for the light functions and windshield wipers. With the seat bench folded down, the storage space for the Audi Q3 SUV increases from 488 to 1,386 litres (1,289 litres for the Q3 Sportback).
The entry level model for the new Q3 is equipped with a 1.5-litre engine that offers 148bhp and is also available with mild hybrid technology. There is also a 2.0-litre engine variant offering the same power output, while the plug-in hybrid models (Q3 SUV e-hybrid and Q3 Sportback e-hybrid) deliver a combined system output of 200kW (268bhp) and are equipped with a 25.7kWh battery offering 50kW DC fast charging.
The entry-level model of the new Audi Q3 will launch in Germany in October 2025, while the entry-level model of the new Q3 Sportback will launch in November 2025.
Additionally, Audi has also confirmed that the new Q3 will be coming to Singapore by the end of 2025, with the Q3 Sportback set to arrive by Q1 2026.
