The new S models by Audi are sports cars for everyday life. Integrating strong performance, elegance and superb dynamics, the S7 Sportback is a sports car that provides drivers with everyday practicality. The fact that the S model has the cylinder on demand system, which switches off four of the eight cylinders in different driving situations, contributes greatly to its efficiency too.
Under its bonnet lies a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 that delivers 420 horses and 550Nm of torque between 1,400rpm and 5,200rpm. These powerful figures enable the S7 Sportback to complete the century sprint in just 4.7 seconds while averaging 9.6 litres of fuel per 100km.
The seven-speed S tronic and quattro permanent all-wheel drive are standard equipment in the new S models too with the S tronic operating in conjunction with torque vectoring. Upon request, Audi will also complement it with the sport differential, which actively distributes power between rear wheels. Impressively, adaptive air suspension sport is standard in the S models. The suspension's stiff setup with controlled damping lowers the vehicles by as much as 20mm.
In addition to the 19-inch wheels, exterior details on the bumper, single-frame radiator grille, exhaust tailpipes as well as aluminium exterior mirrors confirm the status of the S model. On the inside, gray instrument dials with white needles and an all-black cabin with aluminium bits give the car a sportily elegant look. Additional standard equipment in the S7 Sportback includes a four-zone, automatic climate control system, and MMI radio plus with BOSE surround sound.
The S7 Sportback is available in the showroom now, priced at S$429,150.
