Audi now offers digital tour of historic Ingolstadt

Audi is adding a new feature into the Audi Tradition app to mark the 75^th anniversary of the founding of Auto Union GmbH in Ingolstadt.

Those interested in learning more about Audi's beginnings can now take a digital tour through the city, whether at home or on the go, thanks to this new feature that takes users on a journey along the Auto Union's historic sites.

Information is offered at a total of 18 locations in four areas of downtown Ingolstadt. This journey starts at the Provisioning Office, passes by the buildings where two-wheelers and vans were built on the 'banana lot', and ends at the former barracks, which now house the police and the tax office. A before/after feature is also available, allowing users to compare images about the few remaining historic buildings and the many that are now gone.

The Audi Tradition app can be downloaded free of charge from all major app stores for iOS and Android smartphones.
