Having seen its world premiere in April 2025, we've had to wait till October of the same year to see the ninth gen Audi A6 Sedan and A6 e-tron models touch base on Singapore's shores.
Unveiled at the Audi House of Progress, the A6 Sedan is equipped with an entry-level TFSI 150kW engine (2.0-litre inline-four, 201bhp and 340Nm of torque), or a more powerful TFSI 270kW engine (3.0-litre V6, 362bhp and 550Nm of torque) that comes with MHEV plus mild hybrid technology.
Inside, the A6 Sedan offers a quiet and refined business lounge interior, with its advanced sound insulation and acoustic glazing improved by up to 30% as compared to its predecessor. It also comes with progressive steering as standard and is complemented by a Bang & Olufsen 3D Premium sound system with 16 speakers, power latching function for its doors, a full suite of assistance systems, and customisable head-up display with 85% larger projection.
As for the A6 TFSI 270kW option, it offers standard features such as all-wheel steering, quattro all-wheel drive with sports differential, and an optional adaptive air suspension.
The A6 Sedan also offers a distinctive light signature at its rear. With the hazard lights on, the Matrix LED taillights take on a triangular shape.
In line with the electrification craze that's dominating the automotive world right now, the A6 also gets an e-tron model. Built on the Premium Platform Electric, it is the platform's first model with a flat floor concept that comes in RWD. Its single motor offers an output of 210kW and 435Nm of torque. The power output can be enhanced further with launch control, which brings it up to 240kW.
The A6 e-tron is the first Audi vehicle to feature the illumination of its four rings logo at its rear
And with its 83kWh battery, it also offers the longest electric range in Audi's portfolio, with a whopping 563km.
The A6 Sportback e-tron's minimalist design is also paired with standard digital Matrix LED headlights, customisable OLED rear lights (optional), second gen virtual exterior mirrors (optional), and the innovative Digital Stage revolving around the Audi MMI panoramic display and the standard MMI front passenger display.
This is also the first Audi vehicle to feature the illumination of the four rings logo at its rear, as well as bringing a new interior architecture tailored to the occupants in terms of aesthetics and ergonomics.
The S6 e-tron comes with a dual-motor setup offering a power output of 370kW that increases to 405kW with launch control
Besides the two aforementioned models, Audi Singapore has also launched the performance-oriented S6 Sportback e-tron quattro, which is equipped with a bigger 100kWh battery offering 646km of range. It also offers an output of 370kW and 785Nm of torque, with launch control taking its power output up to 405kW. And unlike the A6 e-tron, this model comes with AWD and two motors instead of one.
The entry-level Audi A6 Sedan (TFSI 150kW) comes in two trims, advanced ($372,999) and edition 1 ($392,999), while the TFSI 270kW is only offered in the S line trim ($428,999). As for the A6 Sportback e-tron and the performance-oriented S6 Sportback e-tron quattro, both have a starting price of $375,999 and $462,999 respectively.
