For the first time in history, Audi Singapore has delivered more than 2,000 vehicles in a single year. This is a tremendous achievement for the brand with the four rings. In 2015, Audi Singapore made several key model introductions in nearly all market segments.
They include the new A1 Sportback, A6, A7 Sportback, Q3, the all new TT and the Q7. The latter, Audi's flagship SUV, is also now available with an efficient and highly competitive 2.0-litre TFSI powertrain following the launch of the 3.0-litre TFSI earlier in the year. The momentum is expected to grow stronger as the new models enter their first full year of sales in 2016.
Speaking at an exclusive media event, Mr. Jeff Mannering, Managing Director, Audi Singapore, said, "2015 was a great year for Audi. We are closing the gap to our key competitors and this is only the beginning."
"The next phase kicks off in January with the launch of the all new Audi A4 at the Singapore Motor Show 2016. The latest generation model is as progressive, sporty and sophisticated as only an Audi can be. With this new car, Audi will have one of the freshest model lineups in the premium market. We will also be bringing other surprises to the event," added Mr. Mannering.
At the same time, Audi Singapore offered a sneak preview of the new A4 to the media. Based on a new platform with a redeveloped seven-speed S-tronic gearbox and a 1.4-litre TFSI engine, the new car also features numerous premium technologies that allows the car to set higher benchmarks in its class. The new A4 is slated to be the star of the Audi booth at the Singapore Motor Show 2016 that is happening next week.
