Audi to make Q2 top priority and keep Q8 under consideration

Rumours have been circulating around a range-topping Q model for Audi's lineup and now one of the company's representatives is keen on the idea of a bigger SUV.

Audi's Technical Chief, Wolfgang Durheimer, declared that internal competition is being encouraged within the Volkswagen Group and that there are no risk of overlapping models.

Durheimer remains committed to convincing the bosses at VW group to greenlight the Bentley and Lamborghini's SUVs, alongside the Audi Q2 which he termed as "a top priority".

On the topic of Q8, the range topping SUV is believed to have sporty styling in similar fashion to the recently unveiled Range Rover Sport, while possessing the interior luxury of the A8.
