Bentley introduces new in-car audio system
21 Mar 2026|23 views
Bentley has introduced its pinnacle in-car audio system - Naim for Mulliner - across a dedicated series of cars (called The Virtuoso Collection) built around it.
Originally created for the coachbuilt Batur, the audio system has now spread its wings to the Continental GT, Continental GTC and Bentayga. The Virtuoso Collection is offered in three curated themes - Soprano, Tenor, and Bass - ranging from serene, light interiors to darker, more dramatic specifications with deep textures and rich tonal contrasts.
The unique "Naim for Mulliner" system for the Virtuoso Collection uses eighteen speakers, plus two upgraded drivers (originally developed for Batur). With the enhanced hardware, Bentley's audio engineers also used Fraunhofer Symphoria to develop the sound stage for each particular car.
To maintain a pure listening environment, soft Dinamica inserts have been strategically placed within the door panels to absorb unwanted frequencies and vibrations. Even the bespoke "Naim for Mulliner" speaker grilles have been revised to deliver a 26% increase in the acoustic transparency, allowing sound to pass with minimal interruption.
The Virtuoso Collection's Champagne Gold detailing extends throughout the exterior and cabin, including Bentley exterior winged badges, exhaust tips, collection badges, and a Champagne Gold edged car key. The Champagne Gold Virtuoso treadplate displays the same style reflected in the unique speaker grilles found at the front of the door pad.
For all three curated themes, the finishing interior touch is the Virtuoso design etched into the passenger facia, matching the treadplate.
