Good news for all those that have yet to order their Bentayga: Bentley has updated the already extensive feature list for its SUV lineup.
To start, the Bentley Bentayga can now come in eight new exterior paint colours, adding to the existing 112 colours already available. That's already more than enough to ensure that customers will spend quite a bit of time making their pick at the showroom, but it looks like Mulliner is determined not to be outshined, and is throwing in another seven new satin finishes for those that want a more alternative look.
These can all be paired with a new 21-inch wheel design, which is available in three different finishes. Note that this updated Bentley Bentayga also gets a reprofiled radiator grille.
But for those that think even these are not enough, a new Styling Specification is now available for the Bentayga EWB, which adds a larger rear spoiler to the SUV, alongside high gloss carbon fibre door mirrors, and unique badging on the car's side sills. The specification also adds carbon fibre touches to both the front and rear bumper.
On the handling front, all-wheel steering is now standard on both the Bentayga Azure and 'S' models, and customers of the rest of the range will also be able to specify this for their own SUV.
But of course, what really matters in the Bentayga is what comes within, and Bentley has not failed to deliver here either. The Airline Seat Specification, complete with its 22-ways of adjustment and Seat Auto Climate feature, is now available as an option on all standard wheelbase Bentaygas.
For the driver, the instrument cluster has also been updated with new dial styles, with one said to be specific to the Bentayga. This panel can also now offer a real-time visualisation of the road ahead, and a 3D depiction of detected objects ahead.
The luxury SUV also now gets a Bang & Olufsen premium sound system, complete with speaker grilles that sport a Fibonacci hole pattern. These holes are said to be angled and placed as tightly as possible to achieve the best acoustic transparency. The standard cabin carpets here also now produced from 100% recycled nylon.
But if you're already thinking about specifying your next Bentayga, there might be reason to wait still. Bentley has announced that a new Bentayga model, simply badged as 'A', will be introduced, standing between the standard Bentayga and an Azure, offering customers a first stepping stone on the luxury-focused pathway.
This model will get a straight vanned front grille, black lower bumper grilles and 21-inch black and bright machined wheels. These features will come on top of the front seat comfort specification, as well as a choice of 15 colours of leather and colourways.
Prepare to spend more time thinking about how you should spec up your next Bentayga.
