Bentley introduces new paint fade option

You're now able to opt between three different Ombre paint fades from Bentley Mulliner, and the firm has revealed one special one-off commission at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering the announce this fact.
Painted by hand at Bentley's site in Crewe, U.K., the car gets an exterior finish that transitions between two colours over its length.
Looks like it might be possible to get rims in different colours to match that paint as well - perfect if subtlety isn't your strong suite
Bentley states that the contrast colours are first painted at either end of the vehicle, with the blending then done in stages using paint that has been tinted using traditional paint mixing methods to achieve the Ombre effect.
The damage, you ask? Approximately 56 hours, all poured into the car by two of the firm's paint technicians. And for some clue as to how difficult the process is, Bentley states that it is only offering three specifically curated colour options as of now, as each paint colour behaves differently on application, so the paint technician must react to this during the application of the blend.
And the car you see in the photos, is an example of what you can expect from this process. Revealed as part of Monterey Car Week, the one-off Bentley Continental GT Speed fades Topaz from the front of the car to Windsor Blue at the rear, with the angle of the fade following the angle of the rear haunch line. Notice that it also sports a set of 22-inch 10-spoke wheels that match its body panels.
And of course, the car has also received Topaz hide on its front seats, steering wheel, and instrument panel, while the rear of the cabin gets the darker Beluga finish. Satin Beluga painted veneers have been applied to the centre console, instrument panel and treadplate carriers, which are visible when opening the door.
