Didn't manage to secure one of the 500 examples of the new Supersports Continental GT? Good news: You can now secure one - in miniature, that is.
It's a small consolation, but it's better than nothing we figure. This limited edition (again?) miniature collection comes in two scales: 1:18 and 1:43. Both models take after the example driven by Travis Pastrana in the firm's most exhilarating and dynamic film yet, titled Full Send, showcasing the sporty Bentley taking on the firm’s campus in Crewe gymkhana-style (watch it here).
Both models come plinth-mounted and feature details including dive planes, side sills, fender blades, rear diffuser and a fixed rear wing, as fitted to the full-size car. The models also take after the livery that the actual film car featured. Commissioned with London-based Artist 'Deathspray', this livery is characterised by its bold, monochromatic theme with contemporary bright green accents, complete with green tinted windows.
The models also take after the actual car's painted wheels, which come in green at the front and white at the rear. Also replicated on the miniature models in the film car's interior is the lever for the hydraulic handbrake that allowed Pastrana to dance the car around the Crewe factory.
If you don't manage to secure your own miniature model, there's one final piece of good news: Bentley is now also offering two artistic prints of the film car, with the first depicting the burnout at the start of the film and the second featuring the car as it is power-sliding through the factory. These are individually numbered and screen printed by hand.
