Bentley launches Edition 8 lineup to mark its V8 engine
17 May 2024|139 views
To mark the end of Bentley's 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8, the marque has pulled the covers off the Continental GT, Continental GTC and Flying Spur Edition 8 which boasts the iconic engine alongside many of the most sought-after Mulliner Personal Commissioning options.
The Edition 8 models include Blackline specification exterior brightware, 22-inch wheels which can either be in a five-spoke or 10 spoke design, Bentley's Comfort Specification seats, rotating display, and contrast stitching. Thanks to Mulliner's Extended Paint range, customers will be able to pick from a palette of over 60 colours for their cars. Another Mulliner feature, Palm Fluting which gives the front and rear seating a distinctive and inviting style, will also be offered for the Edition 8 models. This feature has never been offered on any mainstream Bentley production model.
On top of all of these features, all vehicles in this line will be fitted with self-levelling wheel badges, LED welcome lamps and an engineered 'jewel' filler cap - a feature first created for a customer's personal commission.
The vehicles can be identified as part of the Edition 8 line by special badging that features on the fender of the Continental GT and Continental GTC models, and on the D pillar of the Flying Spur. The Edition 8 badging can also be seen as an embroidered emblem on the seat backs, and also appears as an engraved logo on the treadplates of the cars.
The Edition 8 line will only be available in North America.
