Bentley reveals concept model for the Mulsanne Convertible

Having introduced the sedan version of the Mulsanne as a concept model at Pebble Beach in 2009, Bentley has revealed the first sketches of the upcoming convertible model three years later.

Powertrain detaiils are not made available at this moment but there is a high likelihood it will have the same power unit as a sedan so expect to see a V8 6.75-litre with 505bhp and 1020Nm of torque.

According to Bentley, this car will be more driver-focused as compared to its sedan sibling that is passenger-focused. The suspension and steering will be tweaked to provide a sharper drive, while a Sport mode might be made available to firm up the suspension and also quicken the throttle and steering.

If the feedback received are positive, Bentley will likely follow up with production within a span of 12 months.
