BMW 1 Series M Coupe tuned by AC Schnitzer

The AC Schnitzer –tuned 1 Series M Coupe features a modified version of the standard car’s 3.0-litre turbocharged inline-six that delivers 400bhp and a peak torque of 560Nm, up from 340bhp and 450Nm of torque. The tuning company says that the modified coupe is able to rocket from 0-100km/h in 4.7 seconds, and hit an unrestricted top speed of 300km/h.

AC Schnitzer also adds that the increased power is balanced by a high performance brake kit with 6-piston fixed callipers up front and 4-piston fixed callipers at the rear, a height-adjustable racing-specification suspension and a choice of weight-optimised 19 or 20-inch wheels.

Exterior enhancements include an aero kit that comprises of a carbon fibre front spoiler, chrome trimmed side and bonnet air vents and a carbon fibre rear diffuser, while the interior gets “Valencia Orange” trim for the centre console, as well as an aluminium gear knob, handbrake handle and foot pedals. Customers can further personalize the look of the cabin with an AC Schnitzer sports steering wheel in Alcantara, special leather trims and velour floor mats.
