BMW reveals new M Performance Parts for the M5

Think the BMW M5 could use a more aggressive exterior? No? Well BMW is offering you the opportunity to deck your 771bhp performance sedan with more performance bits anyway.
The firm has revealed its M Performance Parts for the M5, which start with a new carbon fibre rear diffuser that can be paired with the new M Performance tailpipes made from a titanium/ carbon fibre mix. These pipes sport milled titanium end rings and an embossed M5 logo.
Available from the M Performance Parts selection is a new carbon fibre front splitter alongside a carbon fibre spoiler and rear diffuser
This rear diffuser is offered as an addition to a rear spoiler included in the M Carbon exterior package or in conjunction with the M Performance rear spoiler pro carbon fibre also available as a retrofit option.
Also available is a carbon fibre front splitter, which is said to enhance the M5's aerodynamic balance and visual impact, offered in tandem with either of the two rear spoiler variants (to maintain the car's aerodynamic balance, we presume).
For the car's flanks, you might want to opt for the M Performance sill extensions (also in carbon fibre), which give the car added athleticism and can be combined with M exterior mirror caps (we're sure you can figure out yourself what these are made of by now). All carbon fibre attachment parts are meticulously hand-crafted from carbon-fibre reinforced plastic and come with a high-quality clear coat finish.
If all these are not enough, there's also the option to add to your car a host of M Performance side decals. These come in Frozen Black, and BMW states they will withstand a host of car washes. There's also an M Performance fuel tank cap, and for the cabin, a quartet of M Performance floor mats - all complete with stitching in contrasting colours and M Performance badging.
Finally, BMW is now offering M Performance tyre bags and an M Performance key case (made from black fine-grain Nappa leather). See the host of parts available in the gallery above.
