BMW starts production of the first-ever BMW XM

BMW has announced that production for the first-ever BMW XM has started at BMW Manufacturing in Spartanburg, South Carolina. The XM will be built alongside the BMW X5, BMW X6, and BMW X7 on the same assembly line.
The XM is the first ever car with an electrified drive system from BMW M.
The XM will be built alongside other BMW SUVs such as the X5, X6 and X7 A plug-in hybrid system comprising a V8 engine and a powerful electric motor endows the BMW XM.
Not only is the XM BMW M's main highlight of its model offensive in its anniversary year, it is also the first BMW M original since the BMW M1, which rolled off the production line 44 years ago.
BMW expects key sales markets of the XM to be the U.S.A, China, and the Middle East.
