Bowers and Wilkins unveils Zeppelin McLaren Edition speaker
16 Oct 2023|287 views
Bowers and Wilkins has launched a new Zeppelin-shaped wireless speaker to celebrate its history with McLaren Automotive, as well as the latter's 60th anniversary.
The new Zeppelin McLaren Edition - a specially designed version of Bowers and Wilkins' Zeppelin wireless speaker - follows from the success of the Px8 McLaren Edition headphone launched in December 2022, and sports a Galvanic Grey finish complete with Papaya Orange highlights.
The wireless speaker is described as a complete stereo system, all encased within one component. It features reference-quality drive unit technologies and sports dedicated left and right speaker assemblies, which sit around a large central subwoofer. All these speakers are powered by 240W of amplification, allowing, according to Bowers and Wilkins, a room-filling stereo sound no single-box rival can match.
A dedicated streaming app is also now available for the Zeppelin McLaren Edition, which comes with wireless multi-room capability and can also pair with Bowers and Wilkins' Panorama 3 and the Formation portfolio of wireless speakers, allowing users to seamlessly connect and play music through their entire home, all at the touch of their fingertips. Only 60 examples of the Bowers and Wilkins Zeppelin McLaren Edition will be made, and all examples will be available only from select McLaren dealerships worldwide.
