Bugatti Chiron sets a new land speed record

Bugatti has become the first manufacturer to break the 300mph (482.8km/h) barrier. On a test track in Germany, a near production prototype derivative of the Chiron hyper sports car surpassed the magic limit with a speed of 304.8mph (490.5km/h), a new world record.
"What a record! We're overjoyed to be the first manufacturer ever to have achieved 490.5km/h. It's a milestone for eternity.
