From its early Formula One cars to the GTO triplets and Testarossa; not to mention the F40 and 612 Scaglietti - most Ferraris are true to the company's design motif. Art in motion.
Having said so, it was rather disappointing when Ferrari unveiled the 458 Italia Spider. Don't get us wrong, the styling was perfect and from certain angles it looks even better than its coupe counterpart, but it was upsetting to find the folding engine cover hiding away the award winning heart of the machine.
Well thankfully German aftermarket specialists, Capristo, have rectified that problem for a cool €9,800 (S$15,730). The new engine cover is fashioned from carbon fibre, and has a tall glass window that allows you to peek at the 4.5-litre V8. And to provide better thermal dynamic efficiency, more vents have been added while the alternate cover can be commissioned in any colour.
The Italians are known to have great sense of style and a respect for the arts, which can be reflected on their cars. One example is Ferrari.
