CATL launches Shenxing Pro battery at IAA Mobility 2025

Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL), a Chinese battery manufacturer and technology company, has unveiled its Shenxing Pro, the world's first lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, at the IAA Mobility 2025.

Designed to meet Europe's e-mobility needs, the Shenxing Pro is equipped with CATL's proprietary NP 3.0 Technology and offers two variants: The Shenxing Pro Super Long Life & Long Range Battery and the Shenxing Pro Super-Fast Charging Battery.

Shenxing Pro incorporates CATL's innovative wave cells, the world's first battery that allows cooling systems and fixation to be applied from any direction

The Shenxing Pro Super Long Life & Long Range Battery is the world's first LFP battery that delivers a WLTP range of 758km and a record-breaking 12-year/1,000,000km lifespan. Meanwhile, the Shenxing Pro Super-Fast Charging Battery can recharge 478km of WLTP range in just 10 minutes and is backed up by a 10-year/240,000km warranty.
