Charge+ launches SG-first DC fast charger in a HDB carpark

Charge+ has officially launched Singapore's first DC fast charger in a HDB surface carpark, in a significant step towards enhancing the nation's EV charging infrastructure.
After Charge+'s first DC charger, which is located at Boon Lay Place Market, Charge+ will expand its DC network in HDB surface carparks to six more locations, at Beach Road, Bukit Merah, Bukit Panjang, Ghim Moh, Jurong East, and Kallang Bahru.
These are slated to all be completed by mid-2025 and are strategically located at neighbourhood centres as Charge+ aims to provide EV drivers with faster charging options at locations with high vehicle turnover.
As Singapore advances towards a greener future, Charge+ has said that its strategic deployment of both AC and DC chargers will contribute to shaping a sustainable EV ecosystem.
