Chery U.K. confirms TIGGO 8 specs ahead of Q3 2025 delivery

Chery U.K. has confirmed specifications for its seven-seat TIGGO 8 SUV, which will begin customer deliveries in the U.K. on 1 September 2025. The TIGGO 8 will be offered with a choice of two electrified powertrains, two high‑specification trims (Aspire and Summit), and a diverse colour palette.

The TIGGO 8's 1.6-litre TDGI engine produces 145bhp and 275Nm of torque, enabling its pure petrol variant to deliver a century sprint timing of 9.8 seconds and a top speed of 190km/h. Meanwhile, the TIGGO 8's plug-in hybrid model offers a total WLTP range of close to 1,200km. In this version, drivers can fast charge the 18.4kWh CATL battery from 30-80% in 20 minutes or allow the car to self-charge on the go.
