Chery U.K. launches its flagship TIGGO 9

The seven-seat Chery TIGGO 9 SUV has been launched in the U.K., with deliveries expected from December 2025.

It arrives exclusively in the luxurious Summit specification and features the all-wheel drive Chery Super Hybrid (CSH) powertrain, which sees a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine paired with twin electric motors that deliver an output of 422bhp and 580Nm of torque.

Together with a 34.46kWh battery, the TIGGO 9 coughs up an impressive combined WLTP range of over 1,046km. It is also capable of delivering 147km of pure electric range. The battery also offers up to 71kW of DC fast charging, which allows it to recharge from 30-80% in 18 minutes.

Inside, the TIGGO 9 offers heated and ventilated eco leather seats for both front and rear passengers, with the former also getting a multi-programme massage function. The digital experience is led by a 15.6-inch touchscreen paired with a 10.25-inch digital instrument display and head-up display.

Outside, the TIGGO 9 sports features such as a bold front grille, signature LED lighting, a full-width rear light bar, refined chrome, detailing, and 20-inch alloy wheels. It will also come with an option of five exterior colours: Arctic White Mist, Eclipse Black, Forest Green, Slate Grey, and Nightfall Ice Grey.
