Chrysler Delta launched in the UK

The move marks the first entry for Chrysler to market rebadged Lancia cars in Europe, and the Chrysler Delta sports a new grille and badge to differentiate it from its Lancia brethren. All Lancia products are expected to be sold as Chryslers in the long term.

Among the engine options for the Chrysler Delta include a 1.4-litre T-Jet petrol engine with produces 118bhp and 206Nm of torque, a 1.4-litre MultiAir petrol engine with 138bhp and 230Nm of torque, a 1.6-litre MultiJet diesel which has 118bhp and 300Nm of torque, and a 2.0-litre MultiJet diesel with 162bhp and 360Nm of torque.

Equipment options on the Chrysler Delta include xenon headlights, a panoramic sunroof, an automatic parking system and GPS navigation. Chrysler has not released availability details, but the car is expected to go on sale shortly.
