Citroen has given the Ami electric quadricycle a new livery to mark the four years since it was first introduced.
Called 'Night Sepia', the livery comes in raw dark brown, replacing the blue that the car has become synonymous with. The new colour is said to play with warm and natural registers and was additionally picked to match the various stickers that are also offered with the car.
The Citroen Ami range is also being updated with a new 'Peps' trim. This high-end version of the quadricycle gets visual touches including a black graphic band under its windshield, animated by yellow horizontal stickers, as well as black head light surrounds. From the flank, the Citroen Ami Peps sports floral-design wheel covers, as well as two custode stickers, and at the rear, the car also gets a rear spoiler.
Inside the Ami Peps, users will be able to utilise a smartphone clip as well as a 'Connect box' that allows one to connect the car to a smartphone to utilise navigation apps, while the car’s door nets feature an orange band. A central separation net, the yellow bag hook, and three orange storage bins are also offered here.
Citroen states that nearly 50,000 examples of the Ami have been sold across 14 markets so far.
