Citron unveils DS Wild Rubis concept ahead of official debut

The DS Wild Rubis (DS WR) concept will debut at the upcoming Shanghai Motor Show and joins an impressive line up consisting of the DS3, DS4, DS5 and the Numero 9 concept - complementing the DS series with unique style.


The car's silhouette is highlighted by a chrome signature. The roof bars emphasises the height of the SUV before blending into the bodywork.
First seen on the Numero 9 concept, the front facia is dominated by the three-dimensional radiator grille decorated with a DS emblem. The grille flows into the full-LED headlights - made up of three mobile lighting modules and surrounded by scrolling indicator lights at the base and a tuning fork-shaped light signature on the edge.
The new tail lights blends with the raised tailgate and the glass piece is also encased in chrome. The striking chrome work on the rear end also includes the slender integrated twin exhaust pipes.
The hues and materials of the DS Wild Rubis concept presents a wild yet sophisticated appearance. The ruby red bodywork finish changes with the intensity of light with a rich tone completing the chromatic sections of the deep and emblematic DS colours.
