Cycle & Carriage officially launched the new DS5 and the all new DS4 Crossback during a weekend launch event held at the DS Salon. The morning started with an exclusive media event where press and guests were addressed by Mr. Eric Chan, Managing Director, Singapore Motor Operations, Jardine Cycle & Carriage who introduced these two exciting new models.
On June 1st 2014, DS became a standalone brand and established its own identity with the worldwide launch of its new brand identity, 'spirit of avant garde'. This is the philosophy of those who have an exciting vision for the future. Since the launch of its new identity, in the short span of 18 months, 580,000 DS customers worldwide have become proud owners.
The new DS5, flagship model with the distinctive new DS Wings front face, a key component of the DS brand identity that promises avant garde design, extraordinary dynamic comfort, high refinement, attention to detail and cutting-edge advanced technologies. The interior of the new DS5 brings to mind the world of aerospace design. The most symbolic feature is the cockpit roof. Its three dramatic skylights create a unique ambient tailored to individual requirements for day and for night.
The cockpit is designed ergonomically around the driver. The main controls are found on the center console as well as the roof with specially designed buttons, dials and toggle switches, inspired by the aerospace industry.
