Following global realignment that saw Daimler AG renamed as Mercedes-Benz Group AG on 1 February 2022, Daimler South East Asia, which is headquartered in Singapore, has been renamed as Mercedes-Benz Singapore with effect from 1 October 2022.
This renaming exercise reflects the brand's renewed emphasis and future focus on cars and vans in the luxury and premium segment under the brands of the Mercedes-Benz, Mercedes-AMG, Mercedes-Maybach and Mercedes-EQ. While the company now operates under a new name, the scope of the legal entity remains unchanged.

As Mercedes-Benz Singapore, our strategic foci is unwavering - to lead the shift in perception around the concept of luxury as we continue to be better stewards of the environment, and to be regarded as the most loved luxury brand in Singapore," said Claudius Steinhoff, President and CEO of Mercedes-Benz Singapore. "We will continue to deliver lasting economic value to all stakeholders - employees, customers, partners, shareholders and the local community - in this new era of sustainable mobility in Singapore."
