Bad news for muscle car fans. Dodge will be discontinuing their famous Charger and Challenger models after the 2023 model year, bringing an end to all we know and love about our rowdy, beloved V8 cars. However, this approaching end of an era does not stop Dodge from celebrating the cars with a whole host of desirable updates.
The Dodge 2023 lineup will pay homage to the legacy of the muscle car with seven special models. Each model will share a connection to an iconic Dodge model from the 1960s and 1970s.
We will also see the return of a myriad of heritage colours. The colours are B5 Blue, Plum Crazy purple and Sublime green. A popular modern colour, Destroyer Grey will also make a comeback. Charger and Challenger will each offer 14 total 2023 exterior colour options, with 2023 Charger and Challenger R/T models featuring new '345' fender badging.
All 2023 Dodge Charger and Challenger models will also get a special commemorative 'Last Call' under hood plaque which is machined from brushed aluminium. The plaque will feature the vehicle name and a vehicle silhouette as well a title proclaiming each vehicle's origin.
The popular SRT Jailbreak models will also receive an expansion, allowing owners to spec in a wider variety of colour combinations and exclusive content over a wider range of Challengers and Chargers.
Lastly, Dodge will be making the 'Last Call' by revamping the process of vehicle allocation. The entire 2023 Charger and Challenger production run will be allocated to dealerships at once, helping customers identify and secure their cars with greater ease.
The brand will also provide customers a guide for locating their desired Charger or Challenger over here which will include information on all 2023 Charger and Challenger inventory at each Dodge dealership.
