Ferrari marks its 70th anniversary with a weekend of celebrations in Maranello

The celebrations of the 70^th anniversary of Ferrari took place in Maranello, Italy, attracting thousands of customers from around the world to celebrate their connection with the Prancing Horse. As part of the special weekend dedicated to Ferrari fans, international rallies began in several European cities (Frankfurt, Geneva, London, Monte Carlo, Prague, Reims, Salzburg and Rome), that converged in Milan before making the final journey in a single grand parade of 500 Ferraris to the Fiorano circuit.

The celebration in Maranello, the home of Ferrari, featured three incredible activities - Leggenda e Passione, the largest ever single-make auction featuring 38 cars, including an exclusive LaFerrari Aperta; Rosso 70, a thrilling and emotive performance of the story of Enzo Ferrari and Ferrari's part in the lifestyles and changes in society; and Concours d'Elegance, featuring 120 history cars competing for the title of Best of Show in the Racing Car and Road Car categories.

However, the weekend in Maranello was by no means the end of Ferrari's international celebrations, which to date already featured a whole programme of celebratory events spanning 60 different nations, a show of the passion and camaraderie. Recently the cities of New York and Melbourne celebrated the momentous occasion with other events continuing until the end of 2017.
