Fiat is now offering the Fiat Pulse and Fastback with a new mild hybrid drivetrain that makes use of biofuel in Brazil.
The cars get a new T200 Hybrid drivetrain, which pairs a 1.0-litre 128bhp engine with a seven-speed continuously variable gearbox. A lead-acid battery and a lithium-ion battery situated beneath the driver's seat also work to deliver power to a 3kW electric motor, which will provide torque to the combustion engine to enhance fuel efficiency.
The introduction of the bio-hybrid SUVs is said to underscores Fiat’s dedication to creating sustainable and affordable vehicles.
