Fiat rebrands Kiri programme in the U.K.

Fiat has announced that close to 7,300 users have signed up on its Kiri project, accumulating close to $1 million worth of cryptocurrency for efficient driving.
The Kiri project rewards drivers of the new electric Fiat 500 for driving efficiently, allowing them to accumulate cryptocurrency which can then be exchanged for subscriptions to online services such as Apple, Netflix and Spotify.
Fiat estimates that since the roll out of the programme, more than 1,000 tons of CO2 have been saved. In celebration of the success of the programme - which now sees 500 new customers join every month - the formerly named 'KiriCoins' are to be renamed to 'FIAT e.Coins' and identified through a dedicated logo, while the Fiat app receives a new visual layout.
