Fiat has revealed more of the new, all-electric Topolino.
The compact car shares its underpinnings with the Citroen Ami, and as such is also classified as a quadricycle in selected markets including France, allowing users as young as 14-years old to drive one.
Fiat states that the Topolino has been designed to make younger buyers fall in love with the car again, and accordingly, the car has had its body redesigned so it differs from the Ami.
Wooing buyers here are the Topolino's large round head lights, faux chrome trim front and back, as well as a more appealing pair of taillights than those on the Ami.
Fiat states that the Topolino will be the perfect vehicle to experience an Italian summer, whether you're driving down a beautiful coastal road or tackling a chaotic city centre. Providing power in the Topolino here is the same 5.4kWh battery that powers the Citroen Ami, alongside the French car's 8bhp electric motor. A top speed of 45km/h and a range of 75km are quoted for the Fiat Topolino.
You'll also be looking out for warm days if you opt for the open-bodied 'Dolce Vita' variant of the Topolino. This variant will come with a simple rope in place of regular doors, and also feature a fabric roof.
Pick the closed variant of the Topolino and it will come with wood effect stickers on its doors, as well as a roof sunblind. Both variants will come with a 'Dolcevita Box', a band of fabric for storage of personal items, as well as vintage chrome effect mirrors.
Customers will additionally be able to customise their Fiat Topolino with a spacious rack bag, a USB fan, a Bluetooth speaker, a thermal water bottle for both hot and cold drinks, and two seat covers that convert into comfortable and soft beach towels when required. All these accessories will be available via the Fiat Accessories webpage or at Fiat dealerships.
