The FIA has received mixed reactions from their proposed budget cap rule for the 2010 season.
Teams like Ferrari have already made known their anger with the new rule and their attempt to oppose the ruling has been shut down by the French courts on Wednesday.
The new ruling, spearheaded by Max Mosley, will essentially give teams who comply with the rule a clear edge in development of their cars while big budget teams who do not sign under the plan will have such things as test days and wind-tunnel testing restricted.
In a statement issued, the FIA said "No competitor should place their interests above those of the sport in which they compete. The FIA, the teams and our commercial partners will now continue to work to ensure the wellbeing of Formula One in 2010 and beyond." A clear indication to their frustration in dealing with the Ferrari team and their opinions towards the new ruling.
Teams will have till the 29th of May to submit their applications for the 2010 season.
