Goodyear launches its new range of Eagle F1 tyres in Singapore

Goodyear Singapore has officially launched its new range of Eagle F1 Ultra High Performance (UHP) tyres, at an event at One15 Marina, Sentosa Cove, on Sunday, 4 August 2019. The launch event was attended by Goodyear's authorised distributors and members of the media.

The new Goodyear Eagle F1 range will consist of the Asymmetric 5, SuperSport, SuperSport R and SuperSport RS tyres.

The new Eagle F1 series marks a milestone for the company and further underlines the company's efforts of providing best-in-class tyres to today's discerning sports car drivers.

The successor to popular Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 range, Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5 caters to the growing UHP market.

By optimising performance focused on reducing flex in the tread pattern, the resultant crisp, precise turn-in, higher grip levels and efficient, clean acceleration facilitate an improvement in dry handling.

Compact with innovative technologies, drivers will experience the highest possible riding comfort with good wet braking and handling performance. Goodyear's innovative contact patch extends the contact with the road - shortening the driver's braking distance on Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5s on both wet and dry surfaces.

For the Eagle F1 SuperSport, it offers superior grip and fluent handling on dry roads, offering a heightened level of confidence for drivers.

The Eagle F1 SuperSport also offers improved braking distances on dry roads and wet surfaces. The innovative U-shaped compound ensures a highly balanced wet and dry performance.

The driving stability at high speed reaches new heights due to the SuperSport's less deformable tread and super stiff sidewall design.

The second tyre in the SuperSport range, the SuperSport R, Goodyear's new compound and tyre contour will offer drivers superior grip and steering precision on dry surfaces, both on and off track. Excellent concerning stability is ensured by bridges in the tread pattern's inner groove reducing deformation of tread blocks under extreme concerning forces. Drivers who push their vehicles to the limit can rely on the Eagle F1 SuperSport R for superior high-speed stability with its less deformable tread.

For the top-of-the-range Eagle F1 SuperSport RS, Goodyear's most race-focused tyre of its range is designed to meet the track limits while remaining legal. The highly specialised compound of this track-ready tyre provides drivers a very high levels of grip and truly exhilarating performance in dry conditions.

Its less deformable tread offers drivers superior high-speed stability when pulling up, and its innovative bridged first groove helps to maintain that balance when taking a turn.

The Goodyear Eagle F1 SuperSport RS is also the standard tyre fitted on the Porsche 911 GT3 RS.

In Singapore, Goodyear is currently rolling out its new range of Eagle F1 tyres. The Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5 is currently readily available at all of its authorised distributors.

The Eagle F1 SuperSport and Eagle F1 SuperSport R will be available in September and October respectively, and Goodyear plans to roll out the Eagle F1 SuperSport RS to all of its authorised distributors by the end of 2019.
