Harley-Davidson and MotoGP will be launching a new global racing championship that will debut in 2026, and feature Harley-Davidson bagger motorcycles.
The 12-race series will take place at six Grands Prix across Europe and North America, with riders battling it out on race-prepared Harley-Davidson Road Glide motorcycles (built for head-to-head competitions) in two races per round.
Weighing approximately 280kg, the race-prepared Road Glide can produce over 197bhp and 245Nm of torque, as well as reach speeds exceeding 300km/h. In addition, every bike will be identical, ensuring close competition. The grid is expected to comprise six to eight teams, each fielding two riders, supported by Harley-Davidson Factory Racing.
Harley-Davidson has said that more details, including the calendar and how fans will be able to watch and stay up to date, will be revealed soon.
