Historic Porsche 911 Carrera RS 3.8 features in new Transformers film

You must have seen the movie trailer by now, but if you have not, here's one more reason the catch Transformers: Rise of the Beasts: The film will star Autobot 'Mirage' - a historic 911 Carrera RS 3.8.
Transformers: Rise of the Beasts will take audiences on a 1990s globetrotting adventure with the Autobots and introduce a whole new faction of Transformers - the Maximals - to join them as allies in the existing battle for Earth. Autobot Mirage will take the legendary Porsche 911 Carrera RS 3.8 as its car-form, and joins the Transformers for the battle ahead.
Only 55 examples of the Carrera RS 3.8, making it a rare historic car. To avoid risk of damage, no original model was used in filming. Instead, five picture cars were built to look exactly like the 964 on the outside. Each of these were nonetheless built to fulfill a particular function. One example to go backward at higher speeds, while another was specifically prepared for stunt sequences, and a third was built so it could be controlled from outside the driver's cab for scenes that focus on the artist inside.
However, Porsche does state that a real 911 RS 3.8 was used so the film could be as accurate as possible.
