The RR version is meant to be a competition version of the CR-Z Mugen, and features a more dynamic aero package comprising of bespoke parts such as the wider front and rear bumpers with air-vents, side skirts, a rear diffuser and larger rear wing. It also comes with lightweight 18-inch alloy rims wrapped in specially developed tyres.
Honda has not revealed performance details about the CR-Z Mugen RR Concept, but the CR-Z Mugen on which it is based on is powered by a modified version of the standard CR-Z’s powertrain, which has a 1.5-litre petrol engine and an Integrated Motor Assist electric motor, producing 200bhp in total.
The CR-Z Mugen Concept was revealed at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in the UK, and Honda has now pulled the wraps off an even more powerful version at the same event, called the CR-Z Mugen RR Concept.
