Honda unveils new mobility products and services at 2025 JMS

Keeping in line with the title of the event, Toshihiro Mibe, Chairman, President, and CEO of Honda Motor Co. Ltd, gave a speech at the 2025 JMS, mentioning that the brand is exploring new value through a variety of mobility products and services.

One of the things Mibe noted was that Honda is currently strengthening the development of its next gen ADAS, with testing ongoing on public roads in the U.S.A. And starting around 2027, Honda will implement this technology onto its EV and hybrid models.

In addition to this, Honda is also offering a wide range of mobility products for land, sea, and skies. These include power products such as tillers and outboard motors, as well as the HondaJet, a light business jet.

And that’s not all; Honda is also expanding its reach to outer space. The brand is striving to develop environmentally-responsible "sustainable rockets", which will enable the reuse of rockets and the use of renewable fuel. It has already held launch and landing tests in June 2025, and the rocket used is the same one that was on display at its 2025 JMS booth.

All these introductions are not for naught, as these showcases introduce the future Honda aims to realise through its products and technologies.
