Hong Seh launches seven new commercial EVs in Singapore

In what is possibly the most extensive commercial electric vehicle (EV) launch seen on our shores to date, Hong Seh Group is introducing a whopping seven new models to its lineup. These span the likes of light electric trucks, an electric van, an electric pickup, and even an electric heavy-duty prime mover.

Building on Hong Seh's partnership with Geely Group's Farizon for starters, the Farizon range will expand with three new names.

At under five metres long and two metres tall, the V7E - like the entry-level SuperVan - should be able to fit into newer multi-storey carparks

Joining the Farizon SuperVan, first and foremost, is the Farizon V7E, which Farizon has dubbed a next-generation "intelligent smart van". Currently offered in only one variant, the V7E stretches out at 4,995mm long, 1,820mm wide and 1,985mm tall. That makes it slightly longer and taller, though narrower than the smallest Farizon SuperVan on offer. 

Said to be built for modern enterprises, the V7E is said to be engineered for versatility thanks to its advanced safety systems, intelligent features, and impressive range of 329km thanks to a 66kWh battery.

The V7E also comes with a modern cockpit with vibrant digitalisation, and is decked out with intelligent driving systems

Like the SuperVan, the V7E should be quite the sprightly machine too, thanks to a single electric motor that puts out 110kW and 230Nm of torque. Applications envisioned for it thus far include logistics, engineering, cold-chain and service industries, with Hong Seh promising that the V7E will also be competitive to operate from a cost perspective.

The Farizon family will now also welcome the F3E and H5E electric trucks, each of which should appeal to different sorts of business-owners and fleet operators.

The former is a 12-14-foot truck that draws power from Geely's latest Zhixing battery, and is propelled by the Group's 'VMAX' power motor. Farizon statest that the F3E is also designed for efficiency, durability and driver comfort, and will bring the best innovations within the Chinese EV space to Singapore's roads.

Those who want something slightly larger, on the other hand, also have the Farizon H5E to turn to - at 14-foot electric truck. The H5E is built for medium-duty demands, and likewise comes with a standard and comprehensive suite of safety systems and smart features. It can also support AC charging at up to 22kW, DC charging at up to 100kW, and - with its 100.46kWh battery - has a driving range of up to 344km. 

But perhaps one of its most luminous qualities for local operators in particular is the fact that the H5E does not require a Vehicle Parking Certificate (VPC) despite its size. That should make acquiring it even more hassle-free for business owners. 

And even if you're not a Farizon fan yourself, Hong Seh's even wider portfolio of electric names in the commercial sector should offer something of value and appeal.

Another 14-foot electric truck making its debut in Singapore is the ChengLong L2EV, whose headlining feature is its ability to travel more than 350km on a single charge, thanks to a 86.55kWh battery produced by CATL.

Like the Farizon H5E, the ChengLong L2EV is Class 3-friendly and doesn't require a VPC either. It also boasts seating for three, 22kW AC charging, and - purportedly - strong load-moving power. 

The spread this time even extends all the way in size to the DeepWay Star.

Claimed to be the future of heavy-duty prime movers, this massive electric beast is said to be powered by an equally gargantuan 513kWh CATL battery that gives it more than 350km of range in a full charge. Part of its marathoning ability is apparently down its design - with its low-drag, aerodynamic front cab - which DeepWay claims to be a new benchmark for long-haul transport.

But alongside these entirely fresh faces, Hong Seh also took the chance to debut fresh iterations of familiar names that have already earned notable fanbases of their own in Singapore.

You might already know the SRM T3EV, one of the bestselling 10-foot electric trucks to have touched down on our shores; now arriving is the lightly-updated SRM T3EV+, which is claimed to offer increased payload capacity over its predecessor, while still being Y-plate approved.

Crucially, the T3EV+ continues to be eligible for the Heavy Vehicle Zero Emissions Scheme (HVZES), which should make the thought of fleet electrification and renewal more alluring to those still operating older diesel-powered trucks.

The ECON promises the same spacious and car-like cabin as the RD6 

The other newly-launched model that should ring a bell here is the Riddara ECON (also known as the Riddara RD6 ECON). 

Effectively a new budget-oriented sub-variant of the Riddara RD6, the ECON stands as an even more competitively-priced option to those seeking out an electric truck, while continuing to blend the comfort, power, range and versatility of the RD6. Hong Seh Group notes that the latter was the bestselling pickup truck on our shores in the second half of 2025.

The latest seven-vehicle launch by Hong Seh Group marks yet another significant milestone in the firm's efforts to promote electrification in the commercial vehicle sector.

Hong Seh notes that its journey started as early as 2022 when it introduced the DFSK EC35; more than 400 units of the light electric van then took to our roads across the next two years.

The SRM T3EV has also seen considerable success, and was Singapore's bestselling 10-foot electric truck across 2024 and 2025. Hong Seh has also continued to broaden its network of partners in recent years, bringing Geely Group's Riddara and Farizon into the scene in 2025 alone.

Speaking on the news, Hong Seh Group stated: "This unprecedented launch reflects Hong Seh Group's commitment to supporting Singapore's national sustainability goals and EV roadmap."

The company further shared that it hopes to continue providing fleet solutions in the construction, logistics, engineering, industrial operations, transportation, waste management, and commercial and personal mobility sectors in the years ahead.
