IBM has announced a multi-year agreement to become the official Fan Engagement and Data Analytics Partner of Scuderia Ferrari HP - arguably the most renowned Formula One team - starting in 2025.
Both brands plan to develop a fully reimagined mobile app to be unveiled during the 2025 season, using IBM's technology to analyse and transform Ferrari's data into personalised content and custom insights for a better fan experience.
Notably, this will not be IBM's first foray as a tech partner in the realm of sports. For over 30 years, the firm has partnered with sporting organisations such as Wimbledon, the US Open, the Masters Tournament, and ESPN Fantasy Football to modernise their digital infrastructure and bring these marquee events to life.
