Ineos Grenadiers help rescue volunteers scale new heights

Ineos Automotive has announced that it has partnered with the Scottish Mountain Rescue (SMR) charity to deliver off-road vehicle training at the latter's recent annual National Training Conference, held at Glenmore Lodge in Cairngorms National Park.

This year's conference saw the introduction of a practical training element to SMR's 4x4 workshop, where the Ineos Grenadier Station Wagon and Quartermaster 4x4s were put to the test on the Alvie Estate. Here, representatives from 10 volunteer mountain rescue teams tackled several real-world rescue and recovery scenarios designed to improve their off-road driving and recovery skills.

Earlier in 2024, Ineos Automotive became the official vehicle partner of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution charity. In addition, Grenadiers are also being used by fire and rescue services in several European countries in their daily lifesaving work, as well as by the Search and Rescue Dogs Avalanche (SARDA) throughout New Zealand.
